#Why to restrict help due to language barrier?

Hey! You are doing really good work. I just thought about the rule you mentioned, it says "Only English is allowed". We all know that Mental health is not something which is language specific. Someone said- it's easy to handle things in english. But there are many people who can speak more than one language, you can give them option for other languages also, you can hire mods in different languages and make the common language English for the communication between you and mod. May be that person knows German and English both.

You will grab more big audience.
And it's not that tough.

Also, I feel that people can express feelings better in native language with someone who knows their native language.
So, Give them this option.

In short.

1- give people language roles whatever languages they speak.
2- allow them to ask for help in their comfortable language.

3- common language can be english, but for "help" let them be free.

4- hire mods in different languages but common language will be english just for convenience. ( Hire=volunteer)

5- I will support you for this .

The server doesn't have the resources to hire people, here everything is voluntary.

thing would be that a mod would have to be active all the time basically in order to try and moderate the conversations properly. which is something mods now dont have to do. cuz someone is always online tbh. and if they arent then they come online and can see it easily.

the way you want to do is that basically only 1/2 mods will be able to be pinged which can just lead to bad moderating

We keep it english only since having translators as staff can be hard to find.

It always take time to build something. You need that trust even if it is single language. And those mods can work as per their timing, because this server is running 24×7 hrs you can't watch whole day but it's still running so it's better to have trusted people who can watch' when you are not there.
I would say, don't restrict yourself for doing something good.

Rest is upto you. Because it's your server, your rules. I can stand for what I think it's right but I don't have control in others actions.
