Whenever im talking with my mom she keeps talking to someone else mid conversation even tho its not important she keeps doing this everyday she also acts like she doesn't hear me calling her but when my lil brother calls her she responds immediately while im here screaming out her name like if i was talking to a deaf lady i alr talked abt this many times with my mom and nothing has changed its been like 2 yrs and i still have to tell her to listen to me

I know it hurts so much when your own mom won’t really hear you — that kind of hurt sticks with you and makes everything feel heavier. If talking to her doesn’t help right now, maybe write out what you wish you could say, just for yourself — sometimes putting it into words can take some of the weight off your chest.
Also, if you have even one person — a friend, sibling, teacher, or even just us here — who will listen without judging, lean on them when you need to. You don’t have to carry all of this alone.
