Tooth infection

Can dentist like, idk misdiagnosis tooth infections 😭😭😭 I do have gum disease. Whatever that's called. There pretty bad and maybe. Just maybe they couldn't tell what's wrong with the tooth. Idk there is a cavity whole in the tooth. And they left it untreated 👁👄👁 even while looking for cavities.
I could be in denial of all this but I will schedule an appointment to get the tooth taken out anyways.
