I (16M) am currently in love with someone in my grade. I wouldn’t normally use the word love but I’ve known her since elementary school and recently here have caught myself waking up in the morning whispering her name and I’m never able to get her off my mind. I felt this way about her before about a year ago (it wasn’t this strong tho) and asked her out. She said yes, we started planning a date, and then she told me she wasn’t ready for a relationship. I told her that I respected her decision and moved on. I dated someone else for a while and had thought I moved on. But here recently I can’t stop thinking about her. But I can’t tell if she likes me back. I’d like to think she does but in all of our interactions I can’t tell if she’s flirting or just being friendly. I don’t know what to, desperately could use some advice.
