i was born with an umbilical hernia and had surgery as a baby, then around 13 i had surgery again, and i think im going to need it another time. is there any males who have had hernia surgery before? im terrified of even the checkup

im scared of let alone the checkup where theyll have to pull down my pants
if i dont get the surgery then one day my intestines will prolly repture and cause internal bleeding

I have to get a surgery soon too so I understand the fear but man try not to worry, they’ll have you out like a light then you’ll wake up and it’ll be just like waking up from a deep sleep albeit a bit more drowsy and possibly nauseous but you’ll be relatively okay just trust the process and take the required pain medications after that your doctor prescribes

last time i had hernia surgery it hurt and it was on my stomach this time i feel like its gonna be the same but much much much much worse
im also terrified if it wont heal fully cause ive had surgery on it twice now and its still getting worse i think
theyll cut me open and push my intestines back into place
and theyll cut the worst place humanly possible
it randomly hurts just laying down so having it cut open is gonna be awful
