No matter how hard I try I can't feel empathy. At my friend's wedding I should've felt happy for him, but no. When my dad died, nothing. When my friend's cat got run over, still nothing. If I could get some help, that would be amazing, thanks.

Do you not feel empathy or not feel sympathy? The difference is empathy means you understand what people are feeling, sympathy is actually feeling what others feel. When others are sad, you’re sad too, that’s sympathy. Empathy is knowing they’re sad, and knowing that probably sucks but you just don’t feel the emotion for them
This is also the most common symptom of people who are considered sociopaths. If you feel strongly that your lack of empathy/sympathy is caused from something like that I would work on getting a diagnosis so you can properly treat the issue.
