I can't take this anymore.
I thought anything could get worst but it did:

• The rise of AI is nothing more then pure dread and horror. Killing any hope for a dream and turning it into a nightmare.
• LA burned to the ground with absurd damages ( ca. 140 bilion dollars ).
• Elon is nothing more then a lunatic, he says he will help humanity when what's he doing to help us? NOTHING.
• Trump somehow didn't learn ANYTHING in these years.
• The Wars in Ukraine and Gaza don't help a bit.
• We broke for the 10th time in a row the hottest temperature on Earth.
• The Dead Internet conspiracy has become true...

What's the point to remain and enjoy, ENJOY WHAT?! I begin to even question of my exsistence of why i'm even here.
The present is somehow even worse then the past and the prospect of the future looks even more bleaker...

I thought i should end my life, since i see little reason to live in a world that instead of first resolving the problems we have they create more ones indirectly.

Even on a spiritual sense i feel destroyed...

objectively theres been way more catastrophies in the past, and living conditions so bad that modern ppl cant even fathom, media likes to push forward a curated negative agenda on an infinite loop which attracts more attention because of higher emotinoal reactions, thereby more profit

if u look into the real data, steven pinker for example and his angels of our better nature, the world and violence in this context is progressively getting better but its skewed by what i mentioned alredy

they did some studies too with questioning the average american population, despite the data showing improvements in many facets americans rated it getting worse subjectively

if u want sanity u have to get a grip on controlling the media u consume, if u are a person on the more sensitive side its pretty much better to avoid a big portion of it since its not gonna help anyways

there are many people who work towards the betterment of the greater good, but because of the disposed media i alredy mentioned, they never get any attention

if there really was some grand scheme of the "world going down" it would have happend alredy, ppl posses the power to destroy it all but it hasnt happend

So, you're telling me that you want to end it because of problems unrelated to you? It makes since if you were going through hell, but the world is always going to be like this. You ending it isn't going to change how the world will be. You're only affecting yourself, and the people in your life.
You're going to make other people believe it was because of them, when it wasn't.
Though I see your point, there are people out there actually going through hell and still decide to stay, because they know sometimes it isn't worth it.
Don't take your life man, it really isn't worth it believe me. You don't deserve to think like that, if you do, it's going to be the same cycle over and over again, just focus on yourself not the world.

I would love to focus on myself...but when i look at what i have for myself is honestly miserable. During the pandemic i found a dream and a purpose, to become a comic writer and artist. Now thanks to the public access of AI art has become avaliable to anyone, ( anyone is an artist ). Tons of art and media ( even made by some agency ) are made with AI, cause they are cheap of course, why HIRING A HUMAN ARTIST to do the job they dreamed of doing when you can just use a program to generate an image so you can cut cost. It's not like they loose anything right? after all the company is only focusing on itself.

Even when i try to avoid it at all cost, i consumed it already and it's gonna stay in my head and even when i try to hide it, its gonna pop up again. Things like " I have no mouth and i must scream" or downright even "Matrix". The fear of an AI going insane on a world ending scale is something i cannot remove.

Or even Wall E, even if it is "hopeful" the element of dystopia is there.

I just can't find any reason to be happy anymore. Everything i do will eventually turn to waste and more pain, why should i bother contribute when that lunatic of Elon Musk when he says "Robot will do anything for us"? Why should i have a dream when the present is fucked and the future will be more fucked regardless? And what to enjoy when everything has become either corporate junk or the same inidie shit that look the exact same!
