my girlfriend stayed over at my house for new years and she went home today. it was some of the happiest days of my life and now she's gone home. we are both extremely sad that we had to separate again and its killing me. i cried myself to sleep last time she went home. how do i deal or cope with this? i feel so depressed when she/i go home after a few days. we only really get to see each other every few months

Well brother, You find a hobby. You walk your normal days and You try to keep busy.
I’d never tell you to not feel what you feel, it’s important to recognize these feelings and you’ve done that. But let yourself feel it, don’t Ponder too long but it’s good to break in a moment of which your heart longs for. You two are young and Space is not forever, ya both keep in contact and do what ya can to Just live a little.
Laugh, cry, and enjoy your lives in the now. Distance can be harsh, Im currently in a job that takes me away from my family a lot so I understand. But be kind to yourself, these feelings you’re having are normal. They won’t go away so easily nor should they, find a friend/Family you can talk
