Imagine building a serious relationship on having to mask 24/7 around someone for years potentially
Other than that getting some practice in social settings could probably go a long way. Idk about your location or situation but I know there are some ASD therapy/support groups around me that aim to do that, hel people on the spectrum get some practice in those settings
Look around I guess
Honestly I just need to face my fear of driving 20 minutes around crazy drivers and hangout at this barcade in the city once a week.
I have a friend and we hangout once a month but I never meet new people through them.
Sure that's a great start, or perhaps look around on meetup.com
Depending on your location there are some cool events in there
Though they're more common in more urban/metropolitan areas
The more I am around or talking to people the more I realize it is easy to just hate the way some people are and unfortunately alot of stuff inexcusably makes sense. Ofcoarse I know better and the difference, But we do this to ourselves. And I do not mean ourselves as the ones going through it.
Crying for the first time in awhile and it feels good to.
Feels good to just let all this hate I have seen go, I am autistic aswell and it is very hard dealing with all of it trying to be more social.
I think I will be okay.
Sorry for not noticing this due to the holidays, I take it that you're feeling better/more positive about your outlook?
