Yes he respected my boundies, but the way he is arguing over it + how he is acting Like I'm the bad guy makes me feel upset.

Both of you are looking at this problem from different lens. He just wants to helps a friend and doesn't want to abandon her. You, on the other hand, are looking at this from your relationship lens. You don't want someone to be so close your bf for months. And of someone opposite gender on top of it. You understand that things can happen even if they weren't meant to.
