I have a classmate that i recently became friends w/ back in january and it was fun hanging out with her, playing games and video calling often. But as more time continued, I noticed that sometimes she seemed to have been looking down on me. I was talking to her about how i felt kind of dumb because im not doing well in math this school year (she isn't either so i thought it was something we'd relate on) but in that moment she randomly said that I sometimes make her feel smarter/better about herself, like huh? she also always ALWAYS points out my hair even if it's just slightly out of place. I also have bangs which aren't the best but they're not bad either, i like them but she always tells me, like every single day that i should buy this hair mascara for my flyaways (my hairs not perfect obviously, but my flyaways aren't even noticebale unless you look really closely. my other friends have even pointed out how healthy my hair is and i think so myself but i dont get why it matters to her so much. I lashed out on her once about it slightly bc i was in a bad mood but she still continues to do it. Sometimes when she asks for help on an assignment and i genuinly try to help and explain to her, i notice that she sometimes looks away, seems distracted, ignores me, or just stares at my as if she didn't hear a single word i said. Whenever im talking about something i like, i also notice that she obviously doesnt care and ignores me. Being around her makes me feel uncomfortable, what should i do? i wanna ask her about it before the school years over. i wanna tell her that my hair isn't bad and she should worry more about hers, and that i'm smart and have a high rank (i was top student first quarter but i went down to 6 bc of 1 of my classes), and that i dont like how she sometimes ignores me/rolls her eyes at me and it makes me feel bad but im scared that it makes me seem arrogant, that she'll think bad about me, and talk shit about it w/ her friends..
