So, at my school there's a girl I like but one of my friends are dating them. The thing is I've liked them for at least 3 years now but I can't get over them for whatever reason. I don't want to be that one friend who takes their friends girls and makes them seem like a bad person. I just want advice on how to deal with the situation and how to get over her.

Its really about what you want more to keep the friendship or to get the girl. It sounds like you would like to keep your friendship so ill give my best advice though I'm not the greatest 😅 trying to ignore her is going to make you think of her more but do try to not purposly go where she is. You could try to find someone else to like but I honestly dont think its the best way to go. You can't just deny your feelings they exist. Trying to distract yourself with a new or old hobby can help it may even get you into something you didn't know you liked. These things go away with time and you can't expect feelings that have existed for 3 years to just go away. Its a process and you have to be patient with yourself.

Just breathe in and breathe out and take it one step at a time

I’d find a new girl. People have relative qualities and you’ll meet a lot more people who aren’t in a relationship.
