and some medication could help, but discuss it with your psychiatrist if that is a viable option for you
also do you know why it occurs? is it disorder related? or stress related, where you dissociate from the negativity?
underlying reasons are important
have you been diagnosed with anything?
do you have a lot of stress/negativity in your life?
well yeah thats how dissociation works
its not random
generally its after a negative and stressful event
if you have that on a regural basis
r brain has a coping mechanism for that that functions on dissociation
