It feels like she is frustrated with herself and in return making you feel like you are the problem. You are bringing up an issue in your relationship and its healthy to find a resolution, but your girlfriend gets extremely defensive (maybe from built up anger) and she turns it into an issue of “oh so i am the bad guy of doing bla bla..”

I met someone who was exactly like this and it felt extremely draining trying to find a balance with them. Everything I did or say they took it as a personal attack. They manipulated me for the longest time until I had enough and left

Drop her mate, as harsh as it sounds, you need to move on.

I've been in a similar situation before, wish I could give you a hug or something, but you need a break from her.
