yes the brain and body has to get used to it, and it takes several weeks for psych meds to start working

well m not an expert, but yes every psych med has bad effects at the beggining, and they should get less with time, if you dont wanna take meds then its your choice and some ppl try to heal without them, in the meantime try to focus on good sleep, diet and stress regulation, all of them worsen schizophrenia if not managed
