#Anorexia...?

HII! Anorexia here! Some people need to understand the difference between obsessing over your weight and just having a high metabolism. I would reccomend checking a doctor out if your metabolism is that high to raise concerns to people (I’m not saying being skinny is bad but if your mother is crying out of fear, the way how I’m imagining it is like just pure bone like me…) to make sure your body is processing everything correctly. If you’re eating enough and everything’s good, then kudos! But make sure you’re not losing weight because being too too skinny can lead to complications (which I’m currently expediting…)
@lapis mural just a gentle ping ^
Mhm
I deal with the same thing too, at home and at school, as long as you eat enough and know that you are healthy don’t listen to them much.
As long as you’re eating enough and don’t feel sick. As long as you’re not obsessing over your weight with the mindset of losing weight. If you’re eating until you’re full and happy then you’re okay! That doesn’t mean go stuffing your face to gain weight, because that can cause another type of eating disorder.
Your doctor can give you the advice on all that stuff and be the one to say, but for me, I have troubles gaining weight from recovery.
