ultra beasts are overhyped
Agreed
people are probably gonna hate me but Kanto is insanely overrated
Its iconic yeah but like design-wise, probably one of the worst regions
That’s true
It’s still one of the most important regions though even if it’s not as well designed in the pokemon
I wouldn’t necessarily consider it bad that it’s designs are not as good
i wouldnt say its bad per se but its definitely overrated
The Pokemon Anime sucks nowadays
The only good Pokemon anime series were the entire Diamond & Pearl series as well as the Entire XY series
Sun and Moon was decent but it didn’t have the same spark as XYZ
Journeys was a complete dumpster fire and had WAY too much wasted opportunities
And Horizons…..
I’m not a fan
What’s bad about horizons in your opinion
The problem that I have with Horizons is that….
It just doesn’t hit the same for me
The characters are decent and well written but the story feels a bit bare bones
Like it’s lacking the substance needed to stand out more
I like horizons but I don’t really like Roy, liko’s story origin seems pretty generic, and I miss seeing trainers have teams of 6
You just read my mind
I was thinking the same thing
Not just that
Most of the Pokemon aren’t even Evolved
Like it’s been who knows how many episodes and Hattrem, Crocalor and Quaxwell
STILL haven’t evolved 🤦♀️
It’s feeling like ash in black and white
Pokémon is better now than it’s ever been
I’m not sure when I would say Pokémon was at its best, but I wouldn’t consider it to be in decline at all right now
peak pokemon is xy/xyz and sun and moon
But peak Pokemon could be different depending on whether you’re going by the anime, the games, or something else
Okay peak anime is xy/xyz and sun and moon, and peak game imo is Legends Arceus
Tbh, I’ve never played any of the games until SWSH, I was playing the Roblox pokemon games when I was younger 💀
Reasonable those Roblox games were actually peak before sw/sh, s/v, let’s go, and legends arceus
