Yeah, i worked hard my 8th grade year to secure my spot.
Theres 3 marimbas, the 3rd one wasnt mic'ed cuz he kinda sucks and he was only put there cuz they didnt have anything else to put him on since we already had 3 vibes and 4 aux people 😬

And the 4 -2 vibe to marimba ratio would look weird.
He also plays quieter so everything worked out

And he would kinda suck on bells cuz those are loud soo

Well actually pits a no brainer cuz usually the not so good people get put there but i chose to be there when my band director wanted me to be on the bass line 💀
