Mega evolution and Terastallizing are my favourites. I don’t often pay attention to how the gimmicks buff rather than their aesthetics, and I LIVE for how terastallizing looks and the lore behind it. I don’t like dynamaxing at all.

I may be in the minority for this one but I loved the G-maxes a lot. It brought a larger than life feel to the game. Especially with how the gyms were a part of an actual league/spectacle. I hope they do more gyms/leagues like that in the future.

Terastallisation is easily the best in terms of competitive, as it puts no limitations on items and isn't a blanket buff to anything, just changes interactions on any pokemon you choose

Mega evolutions are the coolest, but mostly serve to buff already broken pokemon rather than uplift worse ones, and I find them very uninteresting because it's press a button to get better and nothing else of interest, but design wise they are the best

Prob Mega and Z move was pretty solid.
Dynamax only changed the Look of there g max form for some pokemon.
Terastallizing was Ok cus all u did was remove ur Type for a defensive or Offensive type. For megas you would get a sick animation. I would hope they bring for Legends za. They Made it seem bad in the Sun and moon dex

I like Z-Moves gameplay wise since you get it early on where you actually need powerful moves and it's more accessible, while megas have cooler designs but your entire team is probably really powerful so you sort of use megas to have a haha you die fast now :D

I prefer mega over all but objectively Tera was the "best." Better balancing over the others, gave more niche mons a chance, and was an overall very versatile gimmick that didn't seem to be too overpowered like the rest. I very much dislike the rock hats, but the gimmick is nice. Megas will always be my favorite though.
