What Pokémon would you like to see Ash to catch, and why do you think he should catch that Pokemon?

I know we did want him to catch some specific Pokemon like Lucario and Dragonite, which didn't happen until World Series era. 👀

Context behind this, I want to write a fanfiction with Ash as a main character. I do plan on getting him some new Pokemon, so any suggestions will be appreciated.

I caught it at full odds after accidentally running into it, but I didn’t have auto save on because I was shiny hunting a different Pokémon, and I thought the game forced a save before going into a union circle, but I guess not, because I logged out of the game and logged back in, and it wasn’t their, at all. I hope that this fanfic could revive them in a way I guess.
