Title speaks for itself. I love spiritual assault, it's mostly what I play. The issue is that I've played it so much and I have made up so many crazy builds that it really isn't that difficult anymore. I want it to be like when spiritual assault first released, where it was unfairly challenging. I don't even feel like you would need to add an additional spiritual ascension slot, but maybe that's just me.
#Add Lone Wolf to Spiritual Assault

I feel like I should point out that the current Lone Wolf actually makes the game easier, because the spiritual blessing, or in this case spiritual ascension, that is given as compensation for more enemies can be OP.
So... this does the opposite of what you want.
Even if you weren't given a spiritual ascension as compensation, the increased enemy count alone would probably make the game mode easier because AoE attacks still kill them all and you now get more EXP drops.
True, but EXP gains take a significant halt around 50. Though if it did make a significant impact, there could be an EXP debuff so that you end up around the same level.
You still reach 50 faster, and a lot of the problem with SA is that you need to rise as fast as the enemies do.
Which is exactly what more EXP would do.
I think the only thing that adding Lone Wolf to SA would do to make it harder is just... cause more enemy attacks before you effortlessly AoE them.
Even if you remove the free spiritual blessing/ascension and the extra EXP, the increased enemy count means nothing because the game mode already favors AoE builds. You'd just be pushed into using it more for the same result.
Non-AoE builds would be the only thing that gets harder.
And surviving with said builds.
