The actual power it adds when the build is at full power is one of the more mediocre hero blessings, being beaten by stuff like High-powered Arc and Skill Freak.
This matters little, however, because its attached to one of the most powerful skills in the game.

So i managed to get lucky with the Spiritual Flame ascensions, got lucky with scrolls, and managed to beat Reinc 9....unfortunately, i only got to Stage 2 of Endless afterwards :'c

all it takes is 500 stacks of dual edge and 1000 stacks of extravagant consumption to start ddeleting
now to do a melee build with the new saw
it gets boring fast, trust me
the only thing i wanted was to get secondary exhil so i could actually spam my punches
old battle boots and fragile ody were there solely so i could take advantage of them being on the enemies
so far the best ive managed to do was get past 2 and a half stages

any fire/corrosive weapon with a elemental share gemini with the opposite or with painkiller can proc combustion which is then buffed by pyrodom

honestly one of my favorite things about this game is the consistently creative implementations of weapon designs
the fact that they made a literally bog standard cod rifle feel really good to use deserves praise
dragons breath looks really neat though i havent figured out how best to work it yet
(though i suspect it might actually not be all that good just given that it's firerate is quite limited)

the star devourer inscription is total dmg
so reason ppl can scale into endless rlly strong is cause the skill or weapon is elemental based or upgrading weapon a fuck ton

When shooting there is a 100-(3.5*Projectile count) chance to hit twice but with -50% total dmg
So a chance per shot to hit twice for the same dmg
Single shot sniper has a 96.5% of this happening
But a shotgun with 15 Projectiles only a 100-3.5*15 = 47.5% chance
This is great if you have on hit effects like Spore

Hard to tell what is multiplicative and what isn't but it makes sense that the player and enemies would be separate. Example being if you already have 200% skill damage, Bible adds 120 so now 320%. Enemy takes 40% less damage from skills. 60% of 320 is 192. So your effective skill damage is now only 192% down from 200%
so basically if you take spirit bible from interdependent its a net dmg loss

One is directly tied to your primary (like the ascension) and the other is an all around purpose of hits in general critting

Though to be fair, if you get knocked down enough to hit the minimum timer, you've probably died too many times already.

Sounds perfectly fair to me. He kept dying in a game where 2 deaths are the usual limit. He died again, this time permanently, and as a result an increased cost was added with no reduction on the penalty.
If someone keeps making mistakes, expect them to be punished more and more for it.

It encourages a massive, massive difference in difficulty when comparing solo to multiplayer.
Yes, multiplayer is supposed to be easier, and it is with the ability to revive other players and share stuff.
But Revitalization (and Benevolence) takes it to the absolute extreme by making death almost meaningless.
It's part of the reason why Elite Mandrill Cavalry is one of the most hated enemies in the game.
They're practically the 1 thing that can counter your infinite revive spam.

He died again in the second area, and again missed a goblet
And then in the 2nd boss, so missed those things
Eventually I also died at towards the end of the 3rd area (R9) but, it was just kinda sad that, sure you die because maybe you aren't playing too great, but then you're more likely to die again because you've missed out on items, so relatively you already aren't great, and you just keep getting worse and more likely to die each time

That's another thing I don't really like about revive system and wish it got changed to something better (like one of my suggestions).
But it at least has the saving grace of acting as intended without being boosted to absurdity by other factors.
It would be just as bad as Revitalization+Benevolence if say... being on high enough difficulty causes you to lose ascensions and destroy scrolls each time you get knocked down.

I got a large frame drop constantly when I tried streaming gunfire and recording it at the same time
But idk if that's my computer, it didn't happen before
i also noticed that it got much worse when i tried streaming to discord
another fun bug that's appeared since the update is that the "give up" prompt when you die now no longer reliably works
so sometimes you have to alt-f4 because it won't let you give up
Yeah apparently the latest hotfix really borked up the performance of the game.
On my end I don't have any framedrops, but I have weird network lag even if I'm a host. It gets so bad, that things rubberband all over the place.

vaults seem particularly bad about it for some reason
like, sometimes it'll start rubberbanding in vaults when it wasn't outside them (and in fact before i gave up I died in a vault), and sometimes if it's laready rubberbanding outside a vault it gets far worse in the vault
i think voice chat or streaming is probably exacerbating an already extant issue with the game's communication protocol
one that's bad enough to even affect solo play, which means until a fix for that is in i'm just not going to play anymore

I'll add a little to what has already been said. Since the chance of a critical hit is independent, it often doesn't make much sense to 'stack' the unstackable. If you're not playing in an endless mode, it makes sense to take Counterviolence right away. If you're playing in an endless mode, it's better to focus on Critical Cudgel and increase the level of your weapon.
Let's say you have 50% from Counterviolence, 40% from the Sniper Rifle, and let it be 35% from Critical Cudgel. Your critical hit chance will be 80% (okay, 80.5%). On the other hand, you can achieve 80% by simply using Critical Cudgel III and reaching weapon level 45, which is quite easy to do even on the first playthrough.

crown prince is very strong, but id say that you just gotta find what works for you
is it just me or did they make lu wu's attack where he runs up and smashes the ground way stronger recently
that one was always tricky to dodge but now it's basically completely impossible
there doesnt seem to be a timing trick where the attack can be dodged with a dash, so the only way to really escape is to have neough movespeed buffs to completely leave him behind when he triggers the attack animation
maybe r9 buffed his attack speed in a way that made that specific attack undodgeable
also is storm chaser just "the Spiritual Assault weapon" because holy shit it seems absolutely awful in maingame
not being able to strafe and dodge and having to awkwardly use aim to turn to keep the accelerate bonus is awful on the maingame maps

A) Queues are only with people who use that feature. Then also its only in the difficulty you queue for, Normal , Elite, Nightmare and Reincarnation ( 9 are one queue)
B) Most people solo or premade
C) Its currently midday on a monday in Europe and US still night or VERY early morning on a MONDAY

played a game with my friends and we were in there for a while, I was spamming so many swords that our ping shot up to 999. We all live in the same city. Not sure if it was a coop issue or what but yea. Safe to say we stopped after that consistently started happening. That's why I just run endless solo now.

By this I mean his kit doesn't shoehorn itself into just one way of playing. You can craft a lot of solutions on how to exploit the game's mechanics. Plus he's slow so you have to consider movement/movement debuffs with his nades.

Said "better benefits" is large though, and gets even more significant the more you devote yourself to said element.
Lightning suffers from an identity crisis where it simultaneously is supposed to be the "fat damage" element while also being specifically weak versus the two most common health types in the game
everything that buffs lightning buffs its damage in some way
including it's own effect which is a damage taken multiplier
but it's starting massively behind due to both health and armor resisting it
so it kind of just tends to do... about as much damage as normal

If you're using Painkiller just so lightning weapons can deal reasonable damage, most of the work could also be done by Painkiller itself.

i mean obviously Fire is the best element for a weapon and that's not a contest
especially since with interdependent fortunes you can get the god roll of both Furious Flame and Pyrodominance and get ALL the buffs
but if you don't get either, or neither of them, a lightning weapon can serve the purpose better than a corrosion one
also, this is my opinion, Manipulation is a sorely underrated element and is actually insane

Act 1 and 2 fusion effect.
Which is, ironically, the point where getting fusion effects is the hardest if you don't have Painkiller.
Even Crown Prince cannot easily bring forth Manipulation. You have to rely on Li's Blazing Meteors or, heaven forbid, Chain Lightning.
Neither of which are super reliable and both are better suited for inflicting the Death status.
Heck, Blazing Meteor doesn't even need it sometimes, because it can also stagger enemies for a similar but shorter lived effect.
Ehh... maybe you can do it with the Elemental Orb and Lightning Messenger blessings.
But if you really wanted to use an entire blessing for early game, you'd pick Painkiller or Overconsumption.

Energetic Spirit improves Energy Draining, but most other ascensions benefit more from energy draining than the reverse. Burning Bullet for example is nice but won't really make or break the build, stuff like Flame Forged, Flame Talisman, or Heat Recovery are going to feel much stronger. Keeping energy draining up is mostly just a function of how many individual burning procs you can get, so projectiles, rate of fire, element chance, and anything that stops you needing to take time to reload are most helpful.
One of the benefits of a Rainbow or Rad Glove as your primary weapon is not having to aim, in addition to their high rate of fire, for sure :p

Yes and no.
If you aren't on Reincarnation difficulty, you can no longer break your armor for large damage bonuses, and instead just get a smaller damage bonus based on leap distance. This also prevents stuff like Last Stand and Nova Shockwave from working.
If you are on Reincarnation difficulty, pick the All or Nothing blessing which is now the single OP thing that Birb has. Enjoy leaping into everything, getting such a high damage bonus that enemies are deleted, then getting such high cooldown reduction that you can immediately leap again. At least, once you're out of act 1 anyway.
I tried that blessing recently and got stalled by Lu Wu. Felt really weak. Had bad ascension luck so could be that idk.
Basically eliminated rooms before that point tho so that definitely was strong. The cooldown particularly was strong.
Scaling issues this game suffers from gets amplified with All or Nothing.
All or Nothing relies on ascensions and scrolls that increase your max Armor and increase your Armor recovery.
Naturally, you have none of this at the start of the run, and plenty of it later.
So assuming you don't perfectly plan each leap into big groups, eventually you'll hit a point in act 1 where you're left with no armor and Leap on an actual cooldown.
Getting lucky or progressing will eliminate this flaw, letting you do super powerful leaps every second while being perfectly protected.
Guess I'll just try it again later and see if the rolls are better.

Many things hit the 10,000,000 damage cap.
Other things naturally increase that to 15,000,000 or 45,000,000.
And yet other things can hit that, rapidly.
So Leap is nowhere near the viability of other methods. Even Cleave might work better.

depending on how Special Ammo works, I could get it and an "all consuming" Mortar with a mag size of 80 and ammo belt and thus have 3,800% LS boost per weapon skill
if I then get enhanced Special Ammo, and it works the way I hope, I could then also get a 40x CritX 
I somehow doubt this is how it works though

I had runs go to pre third last boss with only atomic dog and no dual edge
Dual edge is basically make and break for most builds
without it you can only get so far

They need to have a max hp value and then break the dmg nullifier
you can blast them with multiple rounds of double nade 24 capacity atomic dog throws and they dont take a hint of dmg because the explosion is somewhere reaching the front of the shield
and then you get events like Demonic Nirvana and its basically screw you moment
Not skill but just frustration as you cant force them reliably as the impenetrable wall pushes forward and often the shield of another eats your attacks
Elite Horsehead doesnt have that and you can somewhat brute force through his shield , still takes time
And penetration effects are ignored, they go through and take no dmg , which also shouldnt be imo

No, both are incorrect. It's actually 10,000,000. Certain modifiers like elemental effectiveness and Combustion can increase damage beyond that though.

yeah the highest outright number is 45 million, which is cap + proper element + combustion proc
that said, the effective damage number can go a lot higher since you still need more damage to still hit the cap with a given damage reduction
in deep endless you bascially need 100,000x whatever damage you normally need to hit cap
since as i understand it DR rounds to the nearest tenth which means it's probably at worst 99.9%

for example, if I hit an enemy with a lightning gun for 10 damage and it inflicts shock, does the combustion effect proc and they take 30 damage?
Trying to find different kinds of builds, that isn't catkiller, that makes me either survive R9 or get far in Endless, and none of my builds accomplish both, and slowly going insane, and slowly increasing the temptation to resort to catkiller.

Doesn't have to be Battle Tested III either. In the keybind settings you can bind a key to cancel Dual Wield early.
Sharpshooter gifts back Dual Wield cooldown when you cancel it early, gifting back more the earlier you cancel it.
Weapon Genius [blessing] + Sharpshooter is enough to infinitely cancel and reapply Dual Wield for a few seconds. Battle Tested 1 increases this window before you have to cancel out.
Other combos that work:
Battle Tested II + Sharpshooter
Ancient Timer [scroll] + Sharpshooter
Fast Loader and Elemental Weave also work when entering into Dual Wield making them particularly effective. "Infinite" mag and 100% elemental effect chance.
It's not my favorite mechanic of his to have to rely on cooldown cheese but it's just what it is.
It's what happens when you make a character that's heavily incentivized to be in primary always. And this is a way to be in primary always.

Overconsumption isn't one of the best blessings for no reason.
It's a massive stat bonus, but only at the start of a run where you're the most vulnerable.
It can single-handedly make many runs go anywhere, because act 1 and 2 are so brutal.
Act 3 and 4 it is less effective and endless mode makes it useless, but by that point you should have enough of everything else to not care about some lost stats, letting you safely ditch it for something else.
honeslty i die from hordes in act 3 most of the time, they just have stupid levels of damage
1 and 2 are less brutal honestly
bosses are 10x easier than elites and actual enemies istg
the hardest bit in the game by far is early act 2
it's a vicious DPS check with all the tanky as hell enemies charging at you, traps everywhere making dodging a nightmare and instakill shots popping up any time you're out of cover

As long as you win, it unlocks the next difficulty.
Dying at any point will not unlock the next difficulty.

and a horde of duo fjord enemies will seem like theyre survivable until you get stuck in it nad fucking oneshot by 4500 damage from god knows where
