Gambler just pulls your up your worst runs and makes them more similar to the average. OC does the same by lowering ur threshold for gud dmg by giving you a bunch up front. From there you just need to get required luck to hit your build

At least in my experience so far. Owl's primary skill build is not super intuitive. It really isn't about matching scroll colors, as plenty of things allow you to re-roll your odds. Some of the ascensions feel like they have anti-synergy to me though, and I haven't really been able to figure out what a good version of it looks like.
Nona, on the other hand, I think is the most new-player-friendly character maybe in the whole cast. She's no slouch in general, but her early game feels really strong. Having that mech is like playing with Overconsumption.

Heres my list:
- Wait for people, dont rush into rooms
- Dont ever pull the lever in duo fjord when someone is obviously running to it
- Help your teammates as much as you can with scrolls that you dont need, theyll be more inclined to help you out in the future
- Skill builds usually dont take much money to set up unless you get riches or extravagant, help out your weapon build fellows, it sucks to match geminis early on.

I get the Painkiller blessing at the start and an elemental weapon to apply Manipulation to deal with mobs. Then i get a Radioactive Glove and an Argus with spore gemini and just use that til the end of the game. Kind of braindead as the glove does all the work for you.

Miasma was changed, but the most important parts of the change were nerfs, yes.
• DMG to HP reduced from 12% to 9%.
• DMG to Shield increased from 12% to 18%.
• DMG to Armor increased from 9% to 18%.
• No longer hits enemies in an AoE.

That was the change to Miasma itself.
It was also nerfed in a more meta way as well.
As heroes and blessings got buffed more and more, Miasma remained the same.
Why apply several stacks of a damage-over-time effect, when you can just kill everything in 1 shot?

For primary with thunderbolts, I'd recommend either 50% Shock chance, or -90% DMG Taken after casting Fatal Current.

Overconsumption makes you deal more damage, makes you harder to hit, makes you less squishy (important) and reduces Fatal Current's cooldown. Everything it does helps with your build.

Either Crown Prince, Li or Nona.
Crown Prince has easy access to Decay, Li has a bunch of bonuses for fire and burning, and Nona has bonuses specific to pistols.
