Hey this might be way to long of a question but I heard you guys are there best there is so I'll just shoot my shot.
The feature that let's you carry weapons over in the reincarnation mode. I want to get my hands on a great weapon. My idea is to get the legendary enhanced version of the occult that ensured at least 2 exclusive inscriptions. I want to combine this with the spiritual blessing that gives you a 75% chance of a enhanced weapon. If I were to do this with someone they could run the spirit blessing that gives you a 20% chance to find enhanced occult scrolls and pass me the legendary/rare enhanced ones. Which I could reroll to get the guaranteed exclusive 2 inscriptions occult with no limit (the one I mentioned above). I've been trying this solo for about 4 hours but it's really hard getting this combination solo. Now for my question, do you guys have any ideas how I can do this differently? or am I on the right track and just need a / a few pals? Cheers

Your best bet doing this solo is going to be explicitly trying to dilute the scroll pool as the run goes on to try and force the scrolls you want. In this example, if the scroll you want is legendary then you need to do your best to hold as many legendaries as possible so that, next time you roll a legendary, you're more likely to receive the one you want by reducing the total potential loot pool. You could also consider playing Owl while doing this, as you can gather scroll rerolls to try and upgrade scrolls to a higher rarity and thus have more chances at scrolls in the tier you want and thus further diluting scroll pools.

If you're playing co-op, the most optimal way to force scrolls is to literally pass all scrolls over to your friends each time anyone sources scrolls for loot. That way everyone gets to dilute the pool as much as possible when rolling chances to get scrolls. But its super tedious and it's probably only worth doing within a tier of rarity, ie give one person everyone's legendaries when killing a boss so their pool is substantially smaller.

I just figured out that owl's "upgrade" isn't really to upgrade the scrolls directly. It is to upgrade the "rarity" of the scrolls themselves to act as higher rarities for Astroaspect purposes.

So after playing for a while here's my assessment.
- Nona is the most fun because I love AI controlled companions in FPS games. I also appreciate how she specifically benefits from pistols.
BUT unfortunately she's way too strong, like unfathomably strong. Her strength turns to infinity if you get the blessin which makes Iron Wing invulnerable.
Zi Xiao: He was a little too complicated at first, but then I realized something. Card builds are super strong, and his main ability is literally pointless. Just focus on maxing out all card damage and slot bonuses for your weapons. It kind of reminds me of Crown Prince where smoke grenades have far more strength than the energy bolt (which is useful just for stunning)

IMO the mech is a majority of Nona's strength... the mech is basically rarely in danger lategame, because each goblet gives 40 max HP making the regen on it overpower the damage... and when properly upgraded it solos the entire game.
My way of nerfing Nona:
Nona can no longer revive her mech
Nona's mech no longer passivelly regenerates health (so specialized shielding is actually useful for once)
Revive time from 20 sec to 40 sec
Iron wing's revive is 10% slower than player's
(call me harsh, but this would cut down majority of Nona's pure survivability as Iron wing would actually be in danger for once)

ok so am i misunderstanding how spare no effort is gotten. im using spiritual flame when it has both bars orange and the ring is fully orange before launching it i dont have any of the ascensions that change its energy but the count is randomly going up. sometimes it was going up by one and last time it went up by 3 after using it once. now it hasnt gone up since despite me using it how i (so far) understand what it means

He can do things with swords. High base speed and the gifted man that gives damage resistance helps close the gap. The alt fire of the flowing light has all it's hits boosted by fatal currents damage bonus, including storm blast if you stack that. The high shock chance benefits shock synergy, you can still use things like lightning messenger despite no crits. And he likes high base damage weapons, which the flowing light and fire tower are

Honestly I love it because it's a Brick but as a weapon I'm underwhelmed by it in comparison to other options that are just easier to exploit. But that's talking about it in a context where you're building synergies.
It's certainly fun which matters to me.

The brick has a really high base critx. I just had a run where I got critx Gemini inscription plus the exclusive inscription for brick that gives permanent stacking critx. Also playing as Nona so every crit is gonna be an additional 60% lucky hit lol
