Most explosive weapons fall off pretty badly on higher difficulties without some serious luck.

Dual regular weapons are easier to scale since they're less ascension reliant, but Ao Bai's explosive buffs are great fun/can be amazing in groups.

The new Blessing Counterviolence can help explosive weapons crit, but that's Reincarnation difficulty exclusive. If running explosive weapons, Precise Explosion is a multiplicative damage bonus and should be taken as it'll help your boss/elite killing.

Tl/Dr: Both work, regular guns are easier to make work.

Weapon Genius is extremely powerful and can make any weapon, even bad ones like Frenzied Shark, good. It's great fun if you just feel like doing lots of damage with every weapon you find, and the halved Primary cooldown allows you to infinitely Dual Wield as soon as you get Sharpshooter.

I know people give Atomic Bomb a lot of attention because it's ridiculous, but I truly think Weapon Genius is his strongest, most consistent win button.

however, Libra Warrior can be very good for boosting weapon damage if you're using your weapons (especially with high fist sensation/rogue wave)

Mmmm well in this run I focused on his ultimate its pretty powerful because you can dash while holding the shield which does a good amount of damage then after retracting it, retracting it early means the cooldown is lower so you can recast quickly
I kept repeating that (shield bashing essentially)

though later on when I got the ascensions stacked up you can dash with shield and punch more, with Propulsion device you can dash 3 times with the shield which is super nice

Ebb & Flow is also pretty nice because after your ultimate is over you gain big boost to shield recovery

bit late but as a turtle enthusiast all you have to do is get the skill freak blessing at the beginning of the game and literally just focus on your punch/skill damage and movement speed (the faster you are = the more punch stacks you have, the more punch stacks you have = the more damage your punch does), for ascensions primarily focus on the orange ones that raise your punch/skill damage and the 2 dark blue ones that raise skill damage if there is nothing better to get. weapons dont matter at all except for the beginning when you have very limited punches, but when you have enough punches to warrant not needing a weapon, just pick up a sword for the extra movement speed.

By the end I was clearing stage 3 rooms in like 2-3 seconds on R8

With 3 players

Blossom enthusiast also makes it to where it takes 2 less hits and then you have the level 3 growing bloom ascention that does as well so it takes like 4 bullets to proc it, you get fish or bear paw and suddenly it takes no time at all

And there are a ton of ways to increase rof as well

Although aura has higher rate of fire, rainbow can shoot through walls and has insane accuracy

Its also a good way to stack veteran because you tend to kill the enemies as they spawn

I think the only thing that is known about goblets is that your rolls are decided once you open the goblet, not when the goblet is dropped.

ie, if you are playing with Jokul and you have the goblet chest from the end of the stage and goblet from the elite event, you should take one goblet before you check the other as you could roll a duplicate ascend if you dont

It's not impossible to get a high damage build on Qing Yan, but you either need easy kill stacks, or some fantastic rolls on a leap build like unstoppable momentum with overconsumption with all or nothing and nova shockwave and regen hit and last breath

Additionally, the final damage number includes overkill, so you would've done more overkill damage in the lw2 run.

Main campaign, I'm not too sure about. Only thing I know how to do is Atomic Bomb build which is just spam grenades, get grenade upgrades, and use whatever gun expends ammo the fastest to make use of Battle Field Support to regain more. At least how I play.

Spiritual Assault on the other hand has more builds I can help with
One build I like doing is Rhythm Shooter, which focuses on using a powerful weapon in your main hand and a fast firing weapon in your offhand to power up your main hand.
You could go Grenade shockwave, where you use two launchers that can proc a discount atomic bomb
Two other builds I also like doing is a combustion build with the Aura of Venom and the Scorching Rounds
And the other one is just a funny little rng build with the Concealed ammo.

If you want to, you can dm me and I could go more into depth for each build and what jades, weapons, and ascensions, blessings you should go for.

Then choose 2 OP blessings to begin with and tear through the difficulty. If you get mildly lucky, Interdependent Fortunes lets you tear through it even easier.

While people have attempted to make objective character tier lists for Gunfire Reborn, it should be noted that every character is viable/can scale to be extremely OP. Tier lists for this game aren't "who is good" and moreso "who can break the game the easiest."

Also don't sleep on enhanced Banishing Talisman if someone gets it. Curse stacking one player is funny, and the enhanced one let's you drop curses. So if a red chest that gives a curse spawns, drop all curses, player 1 picks them up and does the chest to guarantee no repeat curses, then they drop all their curses so the next player can do the same.

it's a cycle of buffing things that don't need buffing, which makes other things feel weak in comparison, causing them to need buffs
