Against an enemy with no elemental effects, it'll proc Fire Tower Burning, which then procs Painkiller Decay and Shock which then triggers Painkiller Combustion.

I'm not 100% certain what happens after that with the 2 seconds cooldown, but I'm leaning more towards it reapplying the effects triggers another Painkiller Combustion for 0 damage.

Cat's Smoke Grenades would probably make it easier to check.

I disagree! For Golden Grenade...

• Copper gain increases work on the copper gained.
• Any grenade gain triggers it (including Grenade Master 3 and Endless Assault).
• You can save any differences on campsites between stages, without entering the next stage.

So theoretically you can infinitely grind money on campsites to either:

• get all the scrolls in the game in one run, thanks to Refresh Addict
• get infinite damage, thanks to Rich's Privileges, Extravagant Consumption, or Enhanced Unfettered Will

Will it take forever? Yes. But it will make for extremely silly screenshots.

And I saw that the poison sword skill does pure damage based on current of the enemy however it has an exclusive inscription that increases its damage by 45% for every enemy it passes through. So I tried it on spiritual assault. And I'm not sure if it was this weapon or actually the combustion damage but I managed to do 90 million 😛

I just discovered a weird bug with the enhanced elemental relic scroll where it's making every single instance of afflicting a status debuff apply every debuff in the game including bleed

I took a clip of it in case anybody wants to see it but I'm pretty sure this is not how the scroll is supposed to work

for example I had blazing hoop and every enemy who got hit by the fire wave had corrosion, shock and bleed also inflicted on them

(I don't have copycat, it's been like this through the entire run and it's 100% consistent as I am completely unable to inflict only a single debuff to an enemy)

I'm currently doing a Reincarnation 8, Spiritual Link, Mysterious Jokul, and Lone Wolf (4) run all applied.

Is that basically the hardest the game can be?

But, yesterday I tried to play with someone in EU and every single keystroke the "joiner" did took 3-10 seconds to happen in the game. It was unplayable regardless of who hosted. Is this... normal? We both have fiber internet very stable never issues. She can play with her other EU friend without issue, too.

Spores got bugfixed, not nerfed.

It might not crit, have an elemental advantage or benefit from certain weapon effects anymore, but it still tears everything you look at to pieces with the right weapon choices.

You know, I was thinking about how we could use some more elites in the game, you know to avoid getting the bleed cavalry, several bleed kappas, <any> spearmen, und so weiter.

What about

• Elite kung fu monkey: about the size of a normal monkey and runs up to the player, trying to do a short little combo where each attack moves him slightly forward. Of course, he needs the funny walk and mainly moves around while rolling. This roll deals aoe damage.

• Elite arctic walrus: slides around, leaving a path of thorny ice, slowing and dealing damage to the player if you step in it. Also, will mainly spam the lunge attack to spread ice and quickly moving towards the player.

• Elite fiddler crab: to spice it up, let's make this joke monster a real elite. Snips at the player if they are in front of them. If they are behind, the crab will do a 360 spin, trying to club you with his claws. Mainly tries to get into melee range by quickly sprinting sideways towards the player. Legs will obviously do damage if you get hit.

• Elite dark faced bandit: Just make him faster. Oh, and his shots will now be a shotgun blast instead, like the rogue villain. Speaking of

• Elite rogue villain: keep the shotgun, but let's give him the octopus gatling's fire rate. No longer tries to advance towards the player, instead runs away if you get too close. When you break his shield, he makes a clone of himself and will instantly spawn another if you kill it.

• Elite lightning swordsman: let's give him a permanent lightning modifier, making lightning strikes around him constantly. Also gets a new attack. He starts spinning with his sword out, moving towards the player.

I also had a small idea for a weird pseudo elite lantern. Make him leave a trail of fire and constantly charge towards the player, biting constantly while running, dealing damage in front of him at all times. If he gets close, he explodes and becomes two. These have half of his health but they get a refill of his armour, because he should have armour by the way. These two do the exact same thing and split further down. Repeat until the player has killed all the lanterns.

Depends on many things.

Who you're playing as, what blessing you start with, what enemies survive long enough to shoot you, what enhancements they have, if you dodge their attacks, if you don't dodge into a flamethrower trap...

Does soul strike even interact with enhanced skill booster? It was giving me stacks because I had guaranteed crits on soul strike, and it felt like I did more damage after picking it up, but the text of soul strike implies I'm wrong and it doesn't 🤔

One short quesiton. Does the Talisman count towards reloading if you shoot with it? I am not sure, because it doesn't really have an animation, but "Trick Shot" (in Spirit Assault) only works on reloading

Easy Kill is the only reason why Cleave is relevant at all, outside of Spiritual Assault.

And it's because you can farm respawning enemies for more damage (which you obviously did), which is questionable at best.

Lol. Sanguine Relic on enemies. If that description is correct, it makes Shielded/Armored enemies weaker, does nothing to HP enemies and compensates them with virtually worthless lifesteal.

Reason why lifesteal is so OP on players is because we do big damage and have low health.

Enemies do low damage and have big health.

Will have to test and see.

Spirit Feline sounds like a no brainer for all high hit count builds.

You get the best defensive scroll in the game, and enemies take +100% damage. Win-win.

Especially if you've got Evil Banishing Talisman and Evil Devouring Sword, so that choice had no downside for you.

Anyone with Bloody Drill or Penetration Bullet will pick Paranormality.

Heh, when you compare Lightless Shield to Phantom Skin for what enemies get, you can really tell that Lightless is the superior choice.

Would you rather:
• Block 1 hit every 10s
• When hit, recover 10% Shield/Armor (2% for elites, and does nothing for enemies with no Shield/Armor) every 15s.

HAHAHAHAHA! They finally made Shrine of Recovery useful!

Fully recover HP after 4s of not taking damage. No restriction on Elite enemies as you'd expect.
