You can shoot the balls down if they're that much of a problem. AoE is especially effective.

Enemies have less health, deal less damage, have no enhancements, there are no traps randomly throughout the main path, and the challenge events are tamer.

You do get less soul essence per enemy, but you have an easier time going further, where enemies give you more soul essence anyway.

Very late to read all this but there’s definitely some pseudo rng involved with craftsman and peddlers but its not as clear cut with red chests which might just be straight up RNG.

Probably a very similar line along being able to “predict” challenge events based on pity and specific room layout. There’s almost certainly some level of deterministic factors but it’s hard to say without tracking a massive set of data manually.

All I’ve ever really noticed is that in solo you seem to be guaranteed at least one shop/upgrade per act minimum(not counting boss ones), while in coop craftsmsn seem nearly guaranteed for every stage 2-1 and onward.

Here's a tip. If something kills you, figure out how they did it, and how to avoid it. Study them properly instead of firing at them hoping they die first.

Because judging from what you said about getting one-shot, I'm pretty sure your perception isn't accurate and you don't know what's going on when you die.

Proof? Pretty much nothing in Longling Tomb can actually kill you in 1 shot, unless you were already injured or let several enemies hit you at the same time... which technically isn't a one-shot anyway, just a big mistake.

There's a big fat discussion on Steam about how someone suffers the same problem with nightmare. Where it's "Impossible because they keep getting one-shot".

Then people found out that that the player in question barely uses skills, doesn't acknowledge audio or visual cues, complains when they get shot without trying to avoid the hits, and doesn't read what they pick.

They outright complained that Turtle sucks because they keep dying, despite also complaining about the game not having i-frames, which turtle technically has.

I disagree, any elite gathering can be difficult in jokul multiplayer. Depends on what elites you get and the enhancements. Can't revive chain if everyone goes down nearly at the same time or if you go down trying to get to someone.

Yes, but in light of a year's worth of buffs to various things and addition of others, it's not one of the most OP things in existence anymore.

Still extremely powerful in the defensive department, but defence doesn't matter if you one-shot everything.

At the same time, Spirit Feline is also less useful in SA, because there are more enemies with weaker attacks. You'll likely only be giving enemies more damage, besides a few.
