More fun things about this au (CW: Drug for the usage and violence)
Jazz is the most tragic and my favorite to traumatize here. Since he was a kid his parents were neglectful and then died leaving only him and his brother who was much older than him to stay in the slums. When rock was 16 he started getting into drug deals as a way of making money but the only way to test if they were laced was by giving them to someone (a little 7 year old Jazz to be specific). Then he meets Allocer at 10 years old who's been pulling a Matilda and going to the public library to get an education and promises to save Jazz, which ends up leading them to Furfur the casino owner who promises to save Jazz and Allocer if they work for him. Allocer takes the deal and Rock ends up being arrested but Jazz and Allocer get severely abused and traumatized while working under furfur (Allocer is emotionally abused while Jazz has a few shiny new metal teeth from them getting pulled from his head for him 'misbehaving')
Eventually Furfur finds this kid eating out of the trash behind his casino and takes him in, and Lied starts working there. Jazz and Allocer end up protecting Lied from being abused, but Lied ends up worse because his education was given to Furfur, who taught him that unless someone is important to Lied that they aren't important at all, and thus Lied doesn't view most people as "real" people, allowing him the mentality to be truly cruel and horrific to those that end up his victims

Other than the casino trio is the Camu Camu followers
Ipos, one of the top dogs who often speaks with Babel for their info dealing in such things, is also the one who gives out orders to some higher ranked recruits.
Two of these recruits are Gaap Goemon and Agares Picero.
The Gaap family is known for their insane loyalty and often raised simply to be soldiers and bodyguards. Goemon is no different. Any formal education he had was thrown away and made into training instead. He views himself as nothing more than a sword and shield for his assignment.
This assignment was young Picero, the youngest in the clan at the time only a year younger than Goemon and an esteemed member of the Agares family. He was given formal education only in math and architecture and almost all his assignments lead to him making some sort of building blueprint to be sold off somewhere. This quickly burnt him out though and he no longer views himself as a human being, merely a machine to get work done and then go to bed.
They're childhood friends and having grown up only having each other they're soul bonded for life.
Something else is that Agares hated the crime alley and used to run away a lot more as a kid. Gaap would usually go fetch him until one time someone almost kidnapped Agares, and Gaap had to fight off all four people at once, one of which managed to carve a huge chunk out of his jaw.
Gaap is now deeply insecure about his face and refuses to let anyone other than Agares see it (Because Agares said they werent ugly). If he catches a glimpse of these scars in his reflection it will end up triggering a mental episode for him.
As for the Sablings,
I've already mentioned the Sabnock family were weapons dealers, but they're also incredibly violent.
After losing his wife, their father fell into a deep depression and their older brother had to take charge of the clan. Their uncle, Baal, who the family had been dealing to had also been taking more visits to help the family. Baal ended up teaching the two how dark the world outside the family is and warned them if they ever wanted to leave they'd need to desensitize themselves to violence.
To do this, Baal showed them tons of ways to use weapons, mainly bombs and such that they'd find cool. He also used separate tactics for each of them personally.
Baal would give drugs to Sabro, so while he was high he wouldn't feel fear or despair in the midst of killing another which made him not view murder as harshly
As for Sylvia he would offer her various foods made of human meat so that if she ever had trouble harming someone, to just view it as hunting ducks or something of such to add to her plate for dinner
Then there's the stragglers
The Purson clan is a family of information dealers. Pursons father had to deal with his wife dying 2 years after their new sons birth, and his eldest son running away. Because of this, he wanted to hide his youngest son and shelter him from the world. The purson family is the most secretive information dealers who often work with Dali to give info away for high sharp prices. Soi on the other hand just wants to make friends and play in a band. He seeks freedom. Learning by watching his dad how to hide in the shadows and nearly teleport with how good at hiding he is, he begins running away during the day, only referring to himself as 'Soi' as not to make others suspicious. He sneaks into the casino without furfurs knowledge and hangs out with those three, and eventually Babel once the casino trio are whisked away to work for Babel.
Kerori is an idol plain and simple. Her current agency is heavily abusive though limiting her interactions with others and unusually cruel to her schedule making her work out a lot, depriving her a lot of food, and signing her to work in places where people view her more as a doll than as actual entertainment.
Finally, Elizabetta. Having been abandoned by her parents she was raised by the slums and slums alone. When she got a bit older an older man had promised to save her, manipulating and grooming her into being his. When she was 16 she had a mental break. She was typically isolated and only had the man who would tell her they were in love, but then she caught him cheating on her, and he was older and more cruel, she connected the dots and went crazy. She ended up using all thr fancy gifts he got her to kill him, deciding to kill any man especially older ones who were bold enough to comment on her body in such an abtruse way.
