I feel like Kirio's rotten nature is kind of the point?
Love Trio is so wholesome and harmonious and balanced. Kirio adds some much needed discord and antagonism into their relationship, like a pinch of spice
It's sort of how, when I think about it, Clara balances out IruKiriAzz that would otherwise drown in all the gay drama
Also, headcanon:
Clara and Kirio have this soothing effect on each other. On the one hand, whenever Kirio tries to be evil and horrible Clara just sort of breaks in and drags him off to play, and before he knows it Kirio is too tired and dead to do any evil. And on the other hand, you know how Clara gave Iruma and Azz a lap pillow after the Walter Park? I feel like somehow it would always end up in reverse with Kirio, in which case she is the one that ends up snoozing on his lap
So we have this sort of tree where Clara is lying on Kirio's lap, while Iruma and Azz are lying on hers

found some super duper old messy sketches... there is this au i have of a vampire hunter iruma and a priest kirio who is secretly a vampire, which i pitched initially in the irukiri batra. but looking back at it... it is quite heavy on interactions between magitools in general, not simply irukiri, so i think it's a lot more fitting for this batra
As I mentioned, Iruma is a vampire hunter, he is considered pretty low level and was sent to investigate killings happening in some remote village
Kirio is a priest living in that village and is assisting Iruma, while secretly being the vampire that Iruma is supposed to hunt
Azz is a slightly more elite vampire hunter who cares a lot about Iruma and arrives in the same village later after realising that this case is a lot more serious and Iruma won't be able to deal with it alone
Clara is a local... barmaid?? She is sort of the soul of the village that makes this gloomy place a little happier (do I have to say that she goes through a lot of angst and turns into a vampire later)
