Mini-Mairuma Valentines 2023!

Hello writers of the demon world, are you excited for Valentines(/Kalego’s Birthday)? Well, we’ve got just the thing for you! A small AO3 writing event that doesn’t have anything to do with the server’s event, where you can write anything romantic, Mairuma related of course, be it OCs, or your favorite pairing!
This was planned by @nova plover and @cloud current !

Welcome to the un-official Valentines Challenge!
Basically an AO3 collection of Mairuma oneshots [Writers should use AO3 as a medium]
You can write your favorite ships, in any AU!
You can also write OC x Canon, or OC x Reader (if you’re writing for an OC that’s not yours, remember to ask permission!)
General rulings include: No Incest! No smut/NSFW! No adult x minor, student x teacher!
Each fic should be a single chapter fic, with no word limit.
Deadline is February 14th, so that people can enjoy the fic on Valentines 🙂
must be at least 300 words long, we don’t want one liner fics
Chatfics are fine!
You can make a comic instead of a fic, and still post it to AO3^^
Feel free to kidnap our neighborhood Mairuma artists to collaborate with 🙂 (remember to not put so much stress on them though, and PAY them if it’s a commission)
A given, and a rule in the general server, don’t harass other creators! Even if you don’t like the ship they’re creating. If anyone is being problematic, report them to a mod.
This event has nothing to do with the February event for the server, by all means prioritize that event!

hey man, dont worry about it. everyone grows and changes, so why be ashamed? you should celebrate that growth! i cringe at fanfics i wrote 10 years ago and 10 days ago. its a sign of growth, and not something you should be ashamed of. in 2020 i began writing a fic that i hated by the time i finished it in 2022, but it was only because of how much i learned along the way. I plan on going back and editing it to be what i had invisioned in the first place, because i can. besides, so what if it is cringe? as long as you're having fun doing something you enjoy, that's all that matters <3
