yep, visual novel first. i highly recommend ignoring the anime and checking out either visual novel or manga (which i heard is also good). I am personally currently watching a playthrough of the visual novel, which really helps getting through it since it's so long (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K69lcfXKAzA&list=PLT9ERl3rqK2zxABFtUonCQGIwKAfjQCdv). While the artstyle in vn is... something, the music is absolutely a blast, and I think it offers the fullest experience of the original story

I got an AU scenario
Azz seduces Kiriwo solely to prevent that freak from getting into a relationship with Iruma
but then he actually has to go along with being in a relationship with Kiriwo
constantly thinking that he 'can just ditch the bastard the moment Iruma-sama finds someone else', but with how much of a dense ace Iruma is, it's not happening
meanwhile Kiriwo has a great time on Azz's expense. each time he almost goes too far to make Azz dump him, he'll just do a move on Iruma to threaten Azz back into compliance
