Will attach video when I get out of the game. But at least on controller, it's taking a button presses and doing multiple actions. Both what's selected in the settings menu, and whatevers gotten selected in the pause menu behind the settings

Yup! I lost a good chunk of progress to it :')
And no problem aha. I tried to get a video of it just going back to the menu, but inputting the up/down differently gave me that different outcome (just closing the pause menu) so that's how I figured it was giving inputs still to the pause options

yeah progress loss is my main concern. it's a short game so it's not THAT bad, but it still sucks and I'll definitely fix this. sorry about that!

It's all good! To be honest when I booted it on the steam deck I was expecting to not be able to play at all really. So a bit of progress loss isn't the worst scenario I had in mind!
Might be worth adding a "are you sure" on the back to menu regardless though now I think about it 🤔
