#Vtube Studio causes cracklings on my XLR microphones whenever I go live.

I have an MSI Vector 16 HX A14VHG

I tried:

  • using different streaming softwares -> the issue remains in both OBS and Meld
  • changing microphones, preamplifiers, ports, cables -> the issue remains
  • checking for EMI -> no EMI found
  • trying with Spout2, NDi and Game Capture -> They all cause cracklings
  • hiding Vtube Studio Spout2, NDi and Game Captur -> They still cause cracklings
  • USB microphones work ok

Only when I completely remove the Vtube Studio sources my mic and headgear work fine, so it's something with Vtube Studio, sadly. Please help me solsonSadge

Have you tried changing the buffer size?

Depends on what your audio setup is

#

What's your mic and interface

Go into your interface settings, there should be a buffer size option there

#

Should I try it higher or lower?

#

It was crackling even at 256

Could you give me a full rundown of your audio setup? Here's mine for reference

#

It's outdated tho, I use Cantabile now

#

DOesn't have to be a comprehensive diagram

#

Just any and all software you have between your mic and OBS

Have you checked/updated drivers?

#

Yes, I updated the bios too

#

Bios, graphic card, audio drivers and preamp drivers

#

I also gave priority to VTube studio in the processes and set the affinity to certain cores, different from Meld/Obs cores, removed the throttling in Windows power settings and the cpu/bios too
