Tobii eye tracker bug. Refuses to enable no matter what I do | VTube Studio Headquarters | Page 1

As the title states, I am experiencing a bug with my vtube studio and tobii eye tracker plugin. Despite the fact that the red LED's are currently on and connected to the Tobii experience app. VTS refuses to connect. If i'm lucky maybe on my 8th restart of VTS it'll magically connect. Otherwise nothing changes.

I tested it again with vbridger running in the background now.
This didn't happen previously and I only just recently purchased the eye tracker device as well. It always has the same error saying connection failed as well.

this is a newly set up pc, only 3 days old so these errors are new for me.

i've just reinstalled tobii experience + the drivers required for eye chip and now vtube studio.

upon start up i've recieved the exact same error 'failed to initialize'

Im going to attempt rolling back VTS to version 1.28.0

reinstalled vtube studio as a clean file on my c:Drive instead of my gaming ssd and its coming up w the same thing

reinstalled both tobii ghost and also tobii experience

#

both functional on my twitch stream and on obs so its a connection between vts

How do I find my VTS logs?

Please navigate to the local files of VTS. This can be done in Steam by clicking on the ⚙️ gear icon then Manage > Browse Local Files (see image below)

If you are on Windows, please navigate to
VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

If you are on Mac, please navigate to
VTubeStudio.app\Contents\Resources\Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

...and then find the most relevant log (probably the newest one).

booted it up today and the tobii eye tracker instantly connected without any issues
