The Vtube studio application itself starts freezing for 2 seconds and the coming back for 1 and then freeze again for 2, over and over. It starts from the moment the application opens and starts loading.

Everything was fine not even half an hour ago, i dont know if this is relevent but i had just downloaded vbridger for the first time and connected it without issue a few minutes prior. After a few minutes it randomly started when i was tinkering with my models parameters.

Edit: I forgot to mentuon ive tried restarting my computer, only running vtube studio and verifying files on steam.

I have this issue regularly with vbridger too, the only solution I've found is to restart vbridger and VTS until they decide to play well together.

I'm worried that in my case, my PC isn't beefy enough to run both together. Since it sounds like you're just starting to use vbridger, the other thing I'd watch out for is about 30 minutes to an hour after running perfectly fine, vbridger just hangs so your model completely stops tracking. This, unfortunately, I think is also because my PC is not beefy enough to run both together along with OBS...

#

I unfortunately have no good news or ideas to share though, so I'm really hopefully someone else has more advice.

If the issue is you can't actually run vbridger for longer periods at a time and you've already rigged (or paid to rig) your model for vbridger, you might be in a bit of a pinch. My model isn't rigged in a way where the mouth works quite right without the vbridger inputs...your mileage may vary, though.

My PC is on the beefy side so im not having any issues at all running Vbridger with vtube studio, im not sure what cause the issue but as randomly as it came, it also left. Everythings working fine again, ive no clue why it happened.

what are you using as the input to vbridger?

#

cause this sounds like the typical "user has not locked everything to 60fps"

I'm not sure about Gini, but I'm using
iPhone 14 Pro Max running iFacialMocap (I can't find any FPS settings) => vBridger (I can't find any FPS settings, but it's doing the 59/60/59/60 thing) => VTS (set to 60FPS)

99% of support requests for VTS always come back to either "your monitor is >60hz, so you need to lock VTS/Vbridger/VNyan/VseeFace/etc to 60fps" or "you need to check your firewall is set to private". The 60hz issue is an ongoing problem because gaming monitors are often >60hz, and driver optimizations treat VTS as a game. So Windows, or the driver is "making adjustments" to give you the best gaming performance, it might literately be adjusting VTS rather than OBS or the game being captured.

#

you usually are better off capping the vtuber puppeting software and anything connected to it to 60fps just to avoid the potential of that happening.

#

and if the software doesn't let you, go into the GPU driver and cap it at the driver level

#

like one example is TITS, which always defaults to 120hz
