Occassionally, while streaming VTS will abruptly close without any warning or error messages with me only noticing due to my iPhone tracking phone coming out of streamer mode (since I'm a single monitor streamer). It's been happening since upgrading to a new PC that came with Win11. When looking around to try to find what the issue is, the security and maintenance info labels "UnityPlayer.dll" as the fault module. I do have a few plugins (streamdeck, mixitup, kbonk, and nyarupad) for the record. I couldn't seem to find where there might be other crash information so if you could tell me where to look I can grab them and share them as necessary. Mostly trying to see if the blame is mostly on Windows 11's side or not painPeko

How do I find my VTS logs?

Please navigate to the local files of VTS. This can be done in Steam by clicking on the ⚙️ gear icon then Manage > Browse Local Files (see image below)

If you are on Windows, please navigate to
VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

If you are on Mac, please navigate to
VTubeStudio.app\Contents\Resources\Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

...and then find the most relevant log (probably the newest one).

abrupt closes just means it crashed.

#

I don't think the logs will really shed any light on this unless you had the "write logs" option turned on when it crashes

I think I've always had it on, so I do have a log from the most recent session it crashed. Is it alright to upload it in this thread or should I put it somewhere else and link it? o:

RI.Hid , do you by chance have a joystick, keyboard or mouse parameter rigged?

#

because there is an error near the end saying it can't find the device.

#

okay

#

There are two possibilities

#

either you unplugged a USB iPhone or you unplugged a mouse/keyboard/joystick and Unity has flipped out.
