still waiting for help with this. having issues with my vtube studio while i use obs and with discord, the audio on my pc cuts in and out and cannot hear anything. i tried using another vtube software and i noticed i only have that issue with vtube studio

You need to use a virtual cable to route audio from discord to OBS, not capture discord from OBS.

if you still need to hear the discord call, turn the monitor on in OBS

This is how I have it setup

VoiceMeeter is part of my two-machine TTS setup, but VB Cable is just for the discord

#

The thing you have to keep in mind is that windows programs don't like "sharing" audio, it's always better to chain a source in a way so that you don't loopback

eg your mic -> virtual cable A ->Discord, OBS(mic)

then Discord output ->virtual cable B -> OBS (discord)

And if you play a game that uses the microphone, you then tell it to use virtual cable A
