Model lags when tabbed into the game

Hello! This is the 2nd day that my model lags as soon as i get tab into a game.
I have updated my drivers, checked my performance of my pc which everything is running fine, gpu, cpu & memory usage stays at about 45% with everything open. I can run the games in the background just fine but as soon as i tab into them, my model will lag to like 2fps. I tried multiple games and changing the settings in all the games but no luck. This has only started 2 days ago and i have been using vtube studio for months now. Please Help D: Thank you!

How do I find my VTS logs?

Please navigate to the local files of VTS. This can be done in Steam by clicking on the ⚙️ gear icon then Manage > Browse Local Files (see image below)

If you are on Windows, please navigate to
VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

If you are on Mac, please navigate to
VTubeStudio.app\Contents\Resources\Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

...and then find the most relevant log (probably the newest one).

I dont think i have those programs installed. none of them are coming up when i search for them

i closed obs and it is still happening on vtube studio so its not obs issue

@kind compass Quit VTube Studio, then try deleting the vts_config.json file in the "Config" folder next to the "Live2DModels" folder.

Then start VTS again.

Also, reboot if you haven't already.

okay. deleted it and restarted. will check to see if it fixed now. fingers crossed ;-;

Also, try starting VTube Studio as admin.

If your hotkeys are not working when you're in another game, it could be because your game is running as admin and VTS is not.

Is it happening with specific games only?

no its doing it with all games i have tried. Minecraft, stardew valley, smite, visage, mortuary assistant, FFXIV.

Are you 100% sure you don't have any performance-improvement type apps running?

Because those are usually what causes that.

Stuff like Rivatuner, Norton Antivirus, etc.

I am 100% certain. i asked my roommate to check for me since they built my pc. they did not install any overclocking software or anti-virus on my pc.

:'D yeah so im not sure why it fixed itself literally 15 minutes before stream and then as soon as i started to stream the problem came back. so now im lost again Q.Q the thing in graphic settings is turned off still and i didnt change anything from the time between streaming and before streaming.
