#Vtube studio freezing at loading screen

Hi! I have an issue regarding vtube studio freezing midway through the initial loading screen. Every time I try to load up vtube studio except for two times when it did work fine, it freezes at the exact same spot at the loading screen and only closes if I close it through steam. I've tried reinstalling after deleting it, and verifying the integrity of the software files through steam, neither have worked. The two times where it did work fine I had changed nothing, so I don't understand why it worked those two times. Up until recently vtube studio has been working fine. Please help!

How do I find my VTS logs?

Please navigate to the local files of VTS. This can be done in Steam by clicking on the ⚙️ gear icon then Manage > Browse Local Files (see image below)

If you are on Windows, please navigate to
VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

If you are on Mac, please navigate to
VTubeStudio.app\Contents\Resources\Data\StreamingAssets\Logs

...and then find the most relevant log (probably the newest one).

This is caused by that NVIDIA driver issue, which is unfortunately still present in the newest driver.
I've described in this thread how you can fix it for now:

https://twitter.com/VTubeStudio/status/1586525088861794304

Please read through all posts and follow those steps.
Also note that if you have (or ever had) VSeeFace installed, you will also have to remove (and re-install if you want) its virtual webcam, as described in that thread.

【📢】⚠️ IMPORTANT!! ⚠️

If you are still having issues with VTube Studio (or VSeeFace) crashing or VTube Studio not being able to update, please read this thread for info on how to fix that!!

There will also be a more permanent fix eventually, but it's not ready yet.

I don't have the "uninstall.bat" as an option when I follow the steps described in the thread
