As the title mentions, I can't use a webcam for Vtube Studio so I'm using the mouse tracking feature.

I wanted to turn on auto blinking but when I do so, the default for the eye is the wide open and when it "blinks" the eye doesn't close fully. When I try to change the parameters, the eyes just get stuck and don't blink at all. Been trying to tweak around both in Live2D and VTS but I can't seem to fix it

My parameters for eyes closing are -1 > -0.5 > 0 > 0.5 > 1. First picture is when I just turn on the auto blinking, second picture is when I try to fiddle with the parameters and the eyes move normally but don't blink at all

also, given that you are not using the default params ids and didnt renmae the new ones you made, are you sure that param7 is the eyes? I will suggest as a rigger to always reanme properly your params ids NODDERS

yeah, param7 is mostly cuz i was redoing over and over the eyes to see it'd get fixed- i'll record a video and show what's happening!

now one of the eyes also defaults at 0.30 even the model works just fine on the live2d viewer

yes, but the live2d viewer is not the issue here, blinking/eye open has a standard

which 0-1, you made your own param which is fine, but vts autoblink works assuming you are using the standard which is 0-1

#

so you will need to either move your keyframes to go 0-1 instead of -1 to 1, or you could add blinking to your idle animation

i'm new to rigging so it's still a bit confusing and i had no idea about VTS default params but this helped solve it- muchisimas gracias por la ayuda! zeroheart

sin dramas~ te recomendaria igual arreglar los ids de los parametros

que los ojos sean param6 y 7 en vez de lefteyeopen y righteyeopen o como se llamane por defecto te va dar dolores de cabeza a largo plazo NODDERS

si, tome el chance de arreglar los IDs cuando cambie los numeros de los parametros-
