I've been working on a little modded adventure map made on a Plains island. It includes 2 houses, both of which have mob sensors to activate and deactivate lights in different rooms as the player enters/leaves. Each house also includes a lever that forces the lights to remain on if you don't want to worry about adjacent rooms in darkness.

I'm using the Aphorea, Soul Chasm, and Wired mods (along with a small host of other, tangental mods) to create this place. It's packed with secrets, including a "prayer room" that's meant to give major cult vibes!

There's also an entire Temple waiting for you to discover it's secrets to the South...

#

The island is best experienced at midnight, although I don't know if there's any Creative command to make time Stop/Slow/Hasten, so I'm working with what I've got lol

#

Here are just a few examples of the mob sensor-controlled lights when you first arrive, meant to guide you towards the smaller of the two houses (but you're welcome to explore elsewhere)

#

And here, you can see the Lever has been flipped, illuminating all rooms within the small house! They will now remain lit, even when you're not standing in them :)

#

As you get closer to the larger house, the brazier turns on, leading you toward the attached cemetery. The lantern lights up when you actually step through the fence (If you look at all the gravestones, you might even notice a secret lol)

#

Each room lights up as you walk inside, and, like the smaller house, can be permanently lit by pressing the corresponding lever to each room (Hmm, strange, there's a room without a doorway inside...?)

#

If you go a little further south on the island, you might find the Abandoned Temple. Never fear, it welcomes new congregants, and lights up to greet you with soothing music. If you're paying attention, you might notice a few hidden places that catch your eye. :)

#

One lever illuminates these little side corridors, while another exposes a sneaky opportunity for those clever enough to avoid running the "Trap Gauntlet" on either side. And what's this, with this much light, you can even make out two separate Deep Ladders...

#

Using the ladder brings you down into the depths... But don't give up hope just yet! The other ladder is within your grasp!

... or is it?
