👑 **SERVER UPDATED TO VERSION 0.22!**
⚔️ The new Necesse update has added the ability to bring your settlers with you outside of your own settlement!
⚔️ The AnarchyNPCs plugin has been amended to be compatible with this new feature
⚔️ Whenever it is appropriate, a battle will break out between your adventurers and local settlers or the adventuring party of another hostile player!
⚔️ This in effect means that it is now possible for you to have an army of settlers face off against another player's army in sieges and battles on the Rottenprawn!

⚔️ This fixes potential exploits, where players could have created a near-impregnable base by surrounding it with settlement flags

⚔️ Increased the damage of settler cannon fire to better account for late-game armor
⚔️ Messages telling players that settlers have calmed down will now specify the specific settlement, instead of just mentioning the owner's name

👑 Expanded Character Set!
⚔️ The Rottenbot and the Discord Plugin can now handle significantly more characters, such as Cyrillic characters!
⚔️ Certain characters may still be displayed in-game as question marks for you if the language you are using does not use those characters
⚔️ A Necesse-side language bug has also been addressed. 
⚔️ The bug led certain characters in player names outside of the standard Latin characters to be replaced with question marks inside of player savefiles
⚔️ To address this Necesse-side bug, new players will only be able to use standard Latin characters and Arabic numbers in their names
⚔️ Old usernames using characters outside of the standard Latin characters will be grandfathered in

👑 Automatic Server Restarts!
⚔️ The server will now restart automatically 4 times a day
⚔️ This is done since certain levels are never unloaded unless the server is restarted, which significantly decreases performance
⚔️ Starting an hour before restart, messages will be sent out to online players and to the Discord stating when the server will be restarted

Есть проблема со стандартной версией necesse, где символы кириллицы заменяются на "?" в файлах сохранения. Это приводит ко многим другим ошибкам, которые могут даже привести к тому, что игроки не смогут навсегда присоединиться к серверу. К сожалению, чтобы исправить эту проблему, мне пришлось сделать так, чтобы в именах можно было использовать только латинские буквы и арабские цифры. 📢 Server Updated to Version 0.23!

⚔️ The new survival mode has been enabled on the Rottenprawn! Adding starvation, food spoilage and starving settlers deserting your settlement!
⚔️ Since the new update added a built in world border, the WorldBorder plugin has been disabled. The world border is still 20 blocks from spawn.
⚔️ The new update also added the option to enable a lifetime for dropped items. A lifetime of 15 minutes has been set to deal with lag issues.

👑 Updates to the Babadook Essentials Plugin
⚔️ Spoil rate has been increased 20x. This means for example that Raw Pork will take roughly half an IRL week to rot, Apples one week and honey two weeks.
⚔️ The new spoil rate applies to all food obtained after this update
⚔️ Greater durability added to crypt objects. Crypt objects are now 100% stronger than obsidian objects.
⚔️ The same crypt objects are now also immune to dynamite
⚔️ New players will now start with Leather Dashers

⚔️ Updated the server to implement new Necesse hotfix, fixing crashes introduced in Necesse V. 0.23
⚔️ Added an AFK-Player kicker to the Babadook Essentials Plugin, which will kick players if they are AFK for more than 5 minutes. 
⚔️ This is done largely to deal with performance issues caused by players AFK:ing in large settlements

👑 The Rottenprawn world file has been ported!
⚔️ Close to all data, including all settlements with a settlement flag and all player files, have been ported
⚔️ A couple of level files out of over 3000 could not be ported due to issues with the files

👑 Unlimited travel
⚔️ Explore the Rottenprawn, both old and new terrain, without a world border

👑 All plugins fully ported! Major new features listed below:
⚔️ Added a buffer zone to settlements
⚔️ Information about the settlement is sent when players enter the buffer zone
⚔️ A player who does not belong to the settlement may enter the buffer zone without being targeted
⚔️ But crimes count in the buffer zone, leading to a player being targeted if committed
⚔️ And going beyond the buffer zone into the settlement itself is considered trespassing
⚔️ Settlers fight players directly inside the settlement zone, and target them with cannon fire in the buffer zone
⚔️ Cannon fire damage is adjusted based on settlement tier
⚔️ Players not belonging to the settlement can not set their spawn in the buffer zone
⚔️ Distance requirements for settlements increased to handle the buffer zones

👑 Misc additions, fixes, and optimization changes listed below:
⚔️ New players now start with their Leather Dashers and Oak boat equipped
⚔️ Max Settler limit reduced to 150 for performance reasons
⚔️ If above the new limit, settlers will not be removed, but new can not be added
⚔️ Fixed bug where no raid message was sent out for the Attempted Murder crime
⚔️ Max Cattle limit added for performance reasons

Thank you for reporting this. There was a bug in the random spawn selector for new players, which should now be resolved. I have reset your character. If you join again, you should spawn as expected

Hello Rybo, thanks for the report. The server logs do not show any server-side exceptions, which means there may be a local problem causing the crashes. Do you have any mods enabled? Some mods allow you to join servers that do not have them, which may be causing the issue. If you do not have any mods enabled, please send me the crash log if your game crashes again. It may give some information about what is causing the issue. When it comes to the rejoin attempts, I do know that there was a bug in earlier versions of Necesse where players sometimes were unable to rejoin servers for a short while after they left the server, which believed that they were still online. I would suspect this bug still exists in the current version of Necesse in some form
