night mode?

  • it'll be a really dark map but the only thing you can see is the enemy afterburner.

  • if no, you can give the player the ability to use night vision «not recommended because all you can see is bright green because of the enemy afterburner»

more maps environment

  • like a city, perhaps? and make it that if the enemy plane crashed onto one of the building, it will make a black smoke + some fire that raises high.

  • detailed city. cars on the side of the road, the buildings
    is not too blurred out, and make that if the building got hit by a fallen plane, make a firefighter going to fight the fire.

more plane variants

  • i know, you'll add them in your spare time. this is my list of Russian planes you can add them later.

  • Su-25SM3 «modernized Su-25 that is capable of using precision munitions»

  • Su-27SM2 or 3 «modernized radar, electronics, capable of using fox-3s»

  • Su-35S «basically a heavily modernized Su-27 w/ thrust vectoring, she'll be really manouverable but it's hard to recover from slow speed»

game physics

  • at the moment, this game feels like "whose nose can get to the enemy first, you win" make it that we can 2 or 1 circle the enemy, depending on the situation.

  • height change. yep, you heard that right, like on the CAS mode, we can change the height in the dogfight one. if you can get it done. we can counter 2 circle the enemy «usually F-16»

  • nerf the afterburner. yes, it's just too powerful. like... there's an enemy on your tail, but 1 second of AB he's not there anymore.

oh, and.

  • rework the flares, we can dump the flare to make the enemy IR missile miss.

  • make them 50/50 chance, like in my past, i dumped all of my flares and still got hit. (((

  • Russian planes will have the flares going upwards, and the American one has them downwards.

I do want to experiment with more depth in gameplay (no pun intended)

I think adding height will help that, just need to make sure it's not overwhelming for new players

and yes, I think having flares be more of a choice woudl be good. So instead of just one press, you maybe get like 30% chance per press and so it's a game of how much do you want to risk it
