Bug name: Rover Radar Speed Boost
Priority: low
Game Vesion: 0.160.2
Description: Toggling the Rover's Radar in certain conditions causes its acceleration (and sometimes course correction).
Reproduction steps (done on a fresh Tourist start to unlock necessary prerequisites):
- Enter the rover's driver seat.
- Drive forward to reach non-zero speed.
- Leave the seat with a right-click while rover is still moving (the rovers stops).
- Enter the seat again.
4.5. Probably nudge the rover forward to reach non-zero speed, it will help the magic. - Release [W] and start spamming [Q] (radar toggle; the physical button on the rover's upper control panel seems to be just as good for this, but harder to hit in motion).
- The rover should accelerate without you pressing on accelerator; some steering occurs sometimes, though can't tell whether it's caused by the bug or just a natural interaction between the wheels and terrain.
6.5. At some point (higher speeds?) the process seemingly become self-sustainable, generating extra propulsion force on the radar's "pings" (probably not on each ping, though).
