found rover battery and installed it in rover. it did not complete step for finding rover battery to unlock last power upgrade. attempted to remove battery from rover. performs pick up animation and holds hands like youre holding object but does not remove battery and locks you out of any menu. unable to open tablet, using esc to exit game, interact with anything else

did you put the battery in your inventory? i know when i did it i put it in inventory first then it gave me the unlock

it automatically put the battery on my hot bar. Didn't think to check requirement to see if it had completed. was too excited to finally find a battery and installed it within minutes.
so no it never technically went into the actual inventory section, just hot bar

remove it, throw it in your inventory then put it back into your hotbar, see if it registers. also thats why i pick up with ctrl left + click
