You might need it for uni but in most cases, you won't need C++ at work.
C++ is still quite important in many industries but very hard to master
It is important to know for very few people.
Actually needing C++ at work is pretty rare
hobby projects are a different story ofc
Robotics and real time systems over all
i want to become a SDE tho
Compared to other things, there aren't that many people working on these things
in some good product based org
I don't even know what SDE means lol
Software developer ๐ฅ
That doesn't make it more specific
um backend maybe
For backend, you don't need C++
ohh
Any company seriously using C++ for the majority of their backend is setting themselves up for failure
๐
learn java
just look at this amazing community
which other language has a better one
(none)
i meant um imagine a scenario you start your uni and you get a bunch of languages which are thrown at you.
How will you decide which one to master looking at the market or um what's your opinion
You take a look at what languages are used a lot and which of them are interesting to you
uahm so from all the languages i did i found java and python a bit interesting
:O
I think the idea of a language specific payment is stupid
:0
i mean
probably depends more on the domain than the actual language
but i said pay is good for java cuz its used often in all the big companies
what domains can you go with java (um ik android and backend are a few stuff)
fintech
i see
Just rewrite everything in Rust.
