Can someone please help me setup JavaFX on either intellij or netbeans?
I'm on part 13 of Mooc fi Java programming II but I just can't make this work
Been searching for over 2 hours

U have to register certain modules to make it work ever since jiksaw released
There r instructions on how to do it but u have to set it up manually for each project seperately

Honestly it's easier to just use maven or gradle so they do it for u

JavaFV moved from Oracle to gluon, so ur probably looking at the wrong instructions for modern javafx and modern java... Search for gluon javafx install instructions

They have a wonderful page with instructions for every setup
IntelliJ + maven for example and a code snippet to test with
(the manual intelliJ instructions will explain what modules to register and where and how to do it)

Make a new project with the instructions get it working and then fiddle with it in mooc
