#Exporting frames from a video

I have a mp4 and i wanna get each frame from that video (Since im codding a plugin (mc) i cant seem to get any external dependencies to work) so i just need to get the frames of the video without anything external

open cv? it's external and not really meant to be used as you describe but it can easily do it and has a brain dead setup

google. i remember doing it a while ago and it was just downloading the package and adding it to Eclipses libraries list. should be the same for other ides
