I need some help, I installed Java on my Mac (I need it to fix an issue, I have little to no experience in scripting so please go easy on me), and I can’t get it to open. When I go into safari, there is no option for Java extensions, and I’m not sure what to do.
Please if I could get some help that would be greatly appreciated

Browsers have stopped supporting Java plugins for more than a decade, as part of a general effort to stop supporting any sort of plugin, but maintained an effort to keep supporting just the Flash one until websites move away enough from it, which has been so for a while now too.
