why does it skip the line where I enter if the "product" has a discount or not?

I figured out that it's because .nextLine() method, I removed Line and it's working fine but can someone pelase explain what's the difference betweem these two methods?

I am using the Scanner methods nextInt() and nextLine() for reading input.

It looks like this:

System.out.println("Enter numerical value");
int option;
option = input.nextInt(); // Read nume...
